What is DraftCheck?

Draftcheck a tool kit comprised of serveral features and functionality to help people working with legal documents review, analyze and respond quickly and efficiently.

  1. Review is an AI-powered review, analysis, and suggestions helps you correct, understand, improve and communicate about the documents in a concise and efficient manner.  It is designed to find errors in lightning speed that people often miss.
  2. Share is a metadata checking and removal tool to ensure that once you are ready to share a document with a third party, you can be sure that you are only sharing the information you want to.
  3. SmartCompare is the most advanced and detailed document comparison engine on the market.  SmartCompare will find all moves, edits, changes, and modifications to a document and present them in context.
  4. SmartMerge will merge 5 documents into a single docx file, with any and all changes and the associated author attirubution.

Does DraftCheck offer a free trial?

Yes, we offer a free 30-day trial.  Feel free to sign up at http://www.draftcheck.com.

What languages does DraftCheck support?

Currently DraftCheck only supports English language documents.

Can I use DraftCheck offline?

DraftCheck is an internet connected application, which means your computer must be connected to the internet.  However some more basic functionality will continue in an offline mode.  SmartDoc Suite does not function offline.

How many devices can I use DraftCheck on?

The limit is 1 user, so 1 concurrent user.

What Platforms does DraftCheck support?

Draftcheck is available for both Microsoft Word desktop and 365 online version as an “Add-In” and Google Docs/Drive as an “Extension.  Other platforms may be supported in the future.

How do I install DraftCheck?

You can go to our website at http://www.draftcheck.com  or straight to the Chrome Web Store for the Chrome Extension or to the Microsoft Application Store for the Microsoft Word Add-In.

Why does DraftCheck need access to my Google Drive?

Permissions are requested based on the feature you want to use.  If you want to utilize the “picker” where you can select files from Google Drive, the extension will need access to it.

Why can’t I use my account with another email address/account?

DraftCheck utilizes SSO, which means that we are linking your DraftCheck account to your Google/Microsoft Account. Your account is limited to the email address/account you used to sign up for your trial/subscription.  Ensure that the email address you used when you signed up is the same one that you use with your Google/Microsoft account.  If you need to change the email address, it’s recommended to cancel your subscription and sign up again.

Can I use my DraftCheck subscription with more than one Google/Microsoft account or more than one email address?

Not at this time.

I want to cancel my subscription, how do I do that?

If you go to our website https://portal.draftcheck.io/ and click in the top left of the website “Sign In”.  There you can cancel your subscription.
